Sessions

This is absolutely the most fun session there is because it’s with all your besties! There is no better way to cap off your senior year than with images with your best friends the week you graduate.

Grad Session Timing

Grad sessions are typically held during the chaotic week of graduation. I only offer them in May as my schedule typically books fully with portrait sessions beginning in June.

Why the week of graduation?

  • In my experience, most seniors don’t receive their cap and gown until just about the week before graduation. 

What time?

  • Sunrise, It’s not just the best light, you are unlikely to have calendar conflicts at 7am and it’s a crazy busy week. 

Pricing

$250 everything included:

  • Multiple group images in both cap and gown and in another outfit of the group’s choosing. 

  • Individual images of the grads with cap and gown and in their second outfit, often a college t-shirt.  

  • One gallery will be produced with all of the images in it and a downloadable slideshow. You may download any image you choose at no additional cost. 

  • Prints may be purchased from the online store attached to the gallery.

Booking

In order to book your grad session, one “representative parent” of the friend group will contact me directly. I am easiest to reach via text, my email inbox is a spam graveyard I struggle to control. 

  • That one representative parent will be the person I communicate with for the details of the session.  

    • They will forward all of the communication regarding the session, timing, and wardrobe to the seniors and parents involved.  

    • They will gather and send me the email addresses of at least one parent of each participating senior so I can put them in my system to invoice and disperse galleries.

    • They will come to the session itself to help with herding the seniors into place and keeping things on time (some locations we have to leave by a certain time… golf course, gone by 8am.)

    • Invite the other parents to come.  This is FUN.  It’s fun to watch, video and enjoy this small group you have watched grow together, have a true play hour together.

A Note on Cap Decorations

This process is fast and in the most hectic time of the year. I highly recommend having a cap decoration plan in place prior to delivery of the cap. Draw it out, decorate a poster and attach it to the top of the cap even.  Just don’t let it blind-side you. One of the precious parts of the session is everyone with all of the different schools represented within the friend group on those caps. So don’t procrastinate. Get it done as soon as you receive it!
